Veterinary Care and Health Screening
Each kitten from Fluffy Coon Kittens receives complete veterinary care before leaving for their new home. Kittens are checked by a licensed veterinarian and receive:
- Age-appropriate core vaccinations
- Treatment for internal and external parasites
- Thorough health exams including heart, lungs, eyes, and overall condition
- Health documentation with vaccination records provided at adoption
Kittens are raised in a clean, loving environment optimized for early development and socialization, and only released to new homes after a veterinarian certifies them healthy and fit for travel.
Genetic Health Guarantee
We stand by the health and genetic soundness of our Maine coon kittens. Fluffy Coon Kittens guarantees that your kitten will be free of life-threatening congenital defects for a period of one year from the date of purchase. If, within this period, your veterinarian diagnoses a hereditary or congenital condition that seriously impacts your kitten’s quality of life, we will work with you to resolve the situation. Options may include a replacement kitten or partial refund, depending on individual circumstances and supporting documentation.
Infectious Disease Policy
To the best of our knowledge, all kittens are free from infectious diseases at the time of sale. Should your veterinarian diagnose a serious, untreatable contagious illness within 10 days of arrival, and this is confirmed by a written report, please inform us immediately. A full review will be conducted, and in extreme cases, we may offer a replacement or refund as appropriate.
Buyer Responsibilities
For our health guarantee to remain valid, it is important for new owners to:
- Schedule a wellness exam by a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of receiving your kitten
- Provide a safe, healthy environment including good nutrition, proper housing, and regular veterinary care
- Complete initial booster vaccination protocols as recommended by your veterinarian
Our guarantee does not cover illnesses resulting from neglect, improper care, accidental injuries, or exposure to contagious diseases after the kitten leaves our home.
Exclusions
The health guarantee does not cover common feline ailments such as parasites, minor respiratory infections, or viruses that are treatable and considered common in kittens adjusting to new surroundings. Conditions caused by accidents, neglect, or failure to follow veterinary advice are not covered. Declawing or surgical alteration voids this guarantee.

Documentation and Procedures
Should an issue arise under the health guarantee, we require:
- Prompt direct notification (within the time frame outlined above)
